Role Description
General Sheet Metal is seeking a skilled, dependable, and motivated Metal Fabricator to join our team. This position is responsible for designing, fabricating, and assembling custom ductwork for HVAC installations, as well as a variety of custom sheet metal projects for walk-in customers.
Projects may include custom base pans, register boots, flashing, wall stack, cans, chimney caps, and other specialty sheet metal products. The ideal candidate will have strong fabrication skills, attention to detail, solid mathematical abilities, and experience safely operating fabrication equipment and hand tools.
We are looking for a self-starter who can effectively manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, provide excellent customer service, and continuously seek opportunities for personal and professional growth.

Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to safely operate a forklift
- Strong math, measurement, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to stand, bend, lift, and climb ladders throughout the workday
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with Tig and Mig welding
- Familiarity with pneumatic sheer, stomp sheer, 8’ and 10’ brake, finger brake, circle sheer, and sheet metal hand tools
Pay: $30,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
