CDL Class A OTR Truck Driver
We are looking for a dependable and experienced CDL Class A OTR Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate must have a strong safety record, experience operating a 53-foot reefer trailer, and the ability to comply with all FMCSA regulations and company policies.
Qualifications
- Must have a valid Class A CDL
- Must be at least 21 years of age or older
- Must have a safe driving record and clear Motor Vehicle Record
- Must pass pre-employment drug testing and be subject to random testing as required by FMCSA
- Minimum of 2 years of experience driving a 53-foot trailer
- Reefer trailer experience required
- Basic mechanical knowledge preferred in case minor roadside issues arise
- Bilingual drivers preferred, English/Spanish
- Must be able to safely operate an 18-wheel tractor/trailer
- Must be willing to work weekends, nights, and holidays as needed
- Must have access to a smartphone capable of running broker/customer-required GPS tracking applications, such as MacroPoint or similar load-tracking apps
- Must understand required equipment and documentation in the vehicle, including cab card, insurance card, IFTA permits/decals, accident kit, fire extinguisher, spill kit, safety triangles, and other required safety items
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Class A commercial motor vehicle to transport freight over the road
- Deliver and pick up products from assigned locations, stores, warehouses, or customer facilities
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the tractor, trailer, and required safety equipment
- Ensure all required documents, permits, and safety equipment are present and up to date in the vehicle
- Follow all FMCSA regulations, DOT requirements, company policies, and customer procedures
- Maintain accurate logs, trip records, inspection reports, fuel receipts, and delivery paperwork
- Communicate professionally with dispatch, customers, store personnel, and management regarding loads, delays, delivery status, and any issues on the road
- Properly secure freight and ensure loads are transported safely and without damage
- Monitor reefer trailer temperature as required and report any issues immediately
- Accept and maintain broker/customer-required GPS tracking for active loads, including MacroPoint or similar applications, and report any tracking issues to dispatch immediately
- Report accidents, breakdowns, equipment issues, safety concerns, and service delays immediately
- Maintain cleanliness and basic care of the assigned truck and trailer
- Follow all required safety procedures, including proper use of accident kits, fire extinguishers, spill kits, safety triangles, and other emergency equipment when needed
- Assist with loading, unloading, or handling freight when required
- Represent the company professionally while on the road and at customer locations
- Maintain reliable attendance and availability for assigned routes, including weekends, nights, holidays, and extended OTR trips

Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of Class A CDL driving experience
- Experience operating reefer trailers
Licensing
- Valid Class A CDL required

- Over-the-road routes
- Weekends, nights, and holidays as needed
Pay: $1,000.00 - $2,500.00 per week
