Lodi Veterinary Hospital is a privately owned small animal practice that prides itself on a close-knit, family-like atmosphere with incredibly low turnover. We are a fun, fast-paced work environment emphasizing a culture of support, personal growth, and pride in what we do. We are in search of a full-time receptionist who would be a great fit with our team.
Responsibilities:
- Greet clients and pets with warmth and professionalism
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage the appointment calendar
- Check clients in and out, process payments, and provide invoices
- Educate clients about services, preventatives, and general pet care
- Maintain accurate client and patient records
- Support the veterinary team with administrative tasks
- Handle client concerns or complaints with empathy and efficiency
- Keep the front desk and lobby area clean and organized
Qualifications:
- Must have veterinary experience
- A friendly, dependable, positive person
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous customer service experience (veterinary preferred)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail oriented
- Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure
- Proficiency with computers and veterinary software (e.g., EzyVet, Avimark, Cornerstone) is a plus
- Passion for animals and a desire to help people
