Final Phase is hiring a dependable part-time night commercial cleaner for a route of commercial buildings in the Des Moines area.
This position is a good fit for someone who is reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently at night with minimal supervision. Because this is a night cleaning position, we need someone who can stay on task, follow a checklist, and complete the work consistently without someone standing over them.
Schedule
- Night/evening cleaning
- Approximately 15–20 hours per week
- Consistent weekly schedule
- Start date: August 1
- Route includes multiple nearby commercial buildings
- Buildings are all close together, within about one mile of each other
- Cleaner must be comfortable driving between nearby sites during the shift
- Additional hours may become available as the company grows
Pay
- Starting at $15/hour
- 90-day performance review
- Raises are considered for employees who are reliable, consistent, efficient, and meet Final Phase cleaning standards
Job Duties
- Cleaning and restocking bathrooms
- Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors
- Removing trash
- Wiping counters, tables, doors, and high-touch areas
- Cleaning breakrooms, entryways, and common areas
- Following a written cleaning scope/checklist
- Clocking in and out using a timekeeping app
- Reporting supply needs, maintenance issues, or anything unusual at the account
Requirements
- Reliable transportation
- Valid driver’s license and ability to drive between nearby job sites
- Ability to work night/evening hours
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail
- Dependable attendance
- Ability to follow written instructions and checklists
- Smartphone required for clock-in/checklists
- Commercial cleaning experience is helpful but not required
