Rush Translations & Immigrant Services is seeking experienced Tigrinya interpreters in Fairfax, CA and Los Angeles, CA and the surrounding region for in-person USCIS immigration appointments.
About the role:
We dispatch interpreters to USCIS field office and asylum office appointments to support clients during interviews. Assignments are scheduled in advance, typically 4 hours each, sometimes longer.
Location:
USCIS Offices at 14101 Myford Rd, Tustin, CA 92780 and 300 N Los Angeles St Rm 7631, Los Angeles, CA 90012 and Fairfax, CA.
We also serve clients across the broader of Fairfax, CA. and Los Angeles and nearby areas.
Responsibilities:
- Provide accurate consecutive interpretation between Tigrinya and English
- Arrive 30 minutes before scheduled appointment time
- Maintain professional conduct and confidentiality
- Sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement before your first assignment

Requirements:
- Professional fluency in Tigrinya and English
