Position Summary:
The A&D Representative is responsible for building and managing relationships with design and architecture partners to drive product specification and regional market growth. Reporting to the Territory Manager, this role primarily collaborates with sales, technical services, and marketing teams to identify opportunities, deliver product support, and maintain consistent account activity.
Major Responsibilities:
· Build and maintain strong relationships with architects, designers, fabricators, retailers, builders, and other key partners to grow market share.
· Identify new business opportunities and execute strategies with the sales team to expand presence in the region.
· Conduct regular customer visits, product knowledge sessions, and networking activities to support account growth.
· Provide samples, literature, and marketing materials to promote brand awareness and product adoption.
· Address customer issues proactively, keeping the Territory Manager informed of any escalating concerns.
· Communicated ongoing account activity through consistent updates, status reports, and CRM utilization.
· Collaborate with the Technical Service Team to ensure installers receive accurate product information and support.
· Manage merchandising materials and sample inventory within the region.
· Support regional and national initiatives, trade marketing efforts, and organizational programs.
· Maintain strong product and industry knowledge through ongoing learning, events, and trade shows.
· Share insights and coordinate internally with teammates to maximize customer opportunities.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education
· High school diploma or equivalent education
Work Experience
· 1-2 years of prior work experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Education / Certification / License
· Bachelor’s degree in business related field OR relevant sales experience 3+ years
· Design/Architectural background
Work Experience
· 1 year of inside sales experience
· 1 year of working at design and/or architecture firms
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
· Proficiency in CRM Software - Dynamics 365
· Proficiency in Microsoft Suite products
· Proven track record delivering results while adding significant value in building brand equity
· Strong client relationship skills with strong record of excellence in achieving sales targets
· Dependable and team oriented with a history of being able to work independently
· Strong analytical skills
· Solid negotiation, conflict resolution, and people management skills.
· Effective verbal/written communication skills

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
