Quick Delivery Service, Inc. is an on-demand courier/messenger service that has been making deliveries within the Chicagoland 6-county area and surrounding states since 1983.
Job Description
We are seeking a driver to make pick-ups and deliveries as directed by our dispatch department in a company-owned sprinter van. All of Chicagoland is on the table, including Downtown Chicago, the Loop, Lower Wacker, etc. along with the entirety of the suburbs. Occasional out of state work to IN and WI may arise as well. Shift is Mon 5:45am-finish on a set route for an important client and Tue-Fri 6:30am-finish with majority on-demand work; Expect 40 hours per week, with overtime possible dependent on daily demand and individual desire for overtime. Must be able to hand load and unload as needed and be able to lift up to 50-60 lbs. per item.
Compensation
Starting pay is $20.00/hr, with possible overtime available after 40 hours/week. Overtime is paid out at a time and a half rate.

Requirements
· No more than 1 moving violation in the last 3 years.
· Able to lift 50 - 60 lbs.
· Must read, write and speak English fluently.
· A general knowledge of the Chicagoland main roads coupled with the ability operate your GPS.
· Should be able to operate a hand truck, spend significant time in a vehicle and work in all weather and traffic conditions.

· Before a hiring decision can be made, you must provide a Drivers’ License and a current MVR (Motor Vehicle Report from DMV).
