Job Title: Maintenance Multicraft
Job Location: Orem, UT (On-Site and In-Person)
Reporting To: Maintenance Multicraft Lead
Job Type: Full-time
Hourly: $28.00
Work Schedule
- Shift: Swing Shift
- Hours: 4:00 PM – 2:30 AM
- Schedule: Mon-Thur
- Duration: 10-hour shifts
The purpose of the role:
Troubleshoot, repair, and perform, maintenance on structural foam presses, injection molding presses and all auxiliary equipment. Facility maintenance including electrical repairs, plumbing repairs and HVAC PM. Requires good communication skills and adherence to all plant Safety, Quality, 5S and Lean standards.
Duties & Responsibilities:
· General and preventative maintenance of all equipment
· Maintenance of systems
1. Air
2. Water
3. Vacuum
4. Nitrogen
5. Hydraulic
6. Mechanical
7. Electrical
· Assisting in all machine rebuilds and upgrades
· Daily production machine troubleshooting and repair
· Document repairs and PM of equipment
· Basic / emergency tool repair / maintenance
· Fabrication of fixtures as needed
· Maintenance / upkeep and improve safety conditions plant wide
· Follow lean manufacturing concepts (5S, Kaizen, Kan Ban, etc) to improve efficiency.
· Responsible for compliance to all safety standards and maintaining good housekeeping practices.
· Work with other departments (production, tooling, etc.) in achieving goals.
· Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
· 5 years manufacturing maintenance experience
· Read / write – English
· Overhead crane and fork truck operation
· Ability to use standard shop hand tools
· Advanced measuring and machining skills
· Experience in machine troubleshooting / repair

· Strong Mechanical aptitude
· Understanding of electrical theory
· Understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic theory
· Relay logic knowledge
· AC/DC drive control experience
· PLC ladder logic understanding

· Welding and fabrication skills
· Must have own tools.
· Must be a team player with demonstrated interpersonal skills.
Working Conditions
· Heat up to and over 90 degrees F in summer
· Concrete floors
· High noise levels – hearing protection is required in production area
· Safety glasses required
· Working with hot machinery (500 degrees F)
· Working in confined spaces as needed
Physical Requirements
· Ability to lift 60 lbs.
· Walking, standing, bending and twisting
· Able to work 12 hour shifts if needed
· Manual dexterity
· Lifting overhead
· Must be able to work in confined spaces
· Ability to work 40 hours per week and overtime as needed
· Ability to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen
