Pre-K 2 Teacher at HPUMC Day School
This role focuses on providing a nurturing, faith-based early childhood education experience for 2-year-old preschool students. The teacher will support children's academic, social, emotional, and spiritual development while maintaining a safe and engaging classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and teach age-appropriate lessons and activities.
- Create a positive, safe, and organized classroom.
- Supervise children during learning activities, outdoor play, meals, and rest periods.
- Use positive behavior guidance and classroom management techniques.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress.
- Comply with childcare licensing requirements and school policies.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff.
Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years old.
- CDA credential or a bachelor's degree.
- Ability to manage a preschool classroom effectively.
- Strong patience, reliability, and enthusiasm for working with young children.
- Ability to pass a background check and meet state licensing requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous preschool teaching experience.
