Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team! In this role, you will be the heart of the bar experience, crafting exceptional beverages, providing outstanding customer service, and creating a lively atmosphere for our guests. Your expertise in mixology, beverage presentation, and customer engagement will ensure every guest leaves satisfied and eager to return.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages including cocktails, spirits, wine, craft beers, and non-alcoholic options with precision and flair
- Engage with guests to understand their preferences and recommend drinks or food pairings to enhance their experience
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
- Process cash transactions accurately using the Square point-of-sale insurance.
- Develop new beverage recipes and creatively present drinks to delight guests and elevate the bar menu
- Manage bar inventory by monitoring stock levels, placing orders, and minimizing waste while maximizing profitability
- Collaborate with restaurant staff to ensure seamless service during busy hours or special events like banquets or catering functions
Requirements
- Proven experience as a bartender is preferred, but we will train.
- Strong knowledge of mixology techniques, spirits, wine varieties, craft beer brewing processes, and beverage recipe development preferred but not required.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while maintaining professionalism under pressure
- Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while multitasking between serving drinks, handling cash, and maintaining cleanliness
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and food safety procedures
- Experience in food handling, catering events, banquet service, or retail beverage sales is a plus
- Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service practices
