```Duties:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC)
- Perform electrical work on various projects, including residential, and commercial settings
- Read blueprints, schematics, and diagrams to determine the layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures
- Test electrical systems and components to ensure proper functioning and safety
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and make necessary repairs or replacements
- Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects on time and within budget
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations set forth by the OSHA standard
- Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an apprenticeship program or relevant vocational training as an electrician
- Experience as an electrician in residential, or commercial settings
- Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC)
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment
- Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and diagrams
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
