Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with individuals, particularly children, who have developmental disabilities and autism. As an RBT, you will implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), providing essential support to enhance the quality of life for our clients.
Duties
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans as directed by the supervising BCBA.
- Provide direct support to clients in various settings, focusing on skill acquisition and behavior management.
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) to promote independence.
- Collect and record data on client progress and behaviors to inform treatment planning.
- Teach social skills and adaptive behaviors through structured teaching methods.
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations regarding client confidentiality and medical documentation.
- Participate in team meetings to discuss client progress and adjust care plans as needed.
- Collaborate with families and caregivers to provide support and education on behavioral strategies.
Skills
- Strong understanding of behavioral therapy principles, particularly Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
- Experience working with children, especially those with autism or developmental disabilities.
- Proficient in data collection methods for tracking client progress on CR Essentials.
- Knowledge of special education practices and patient care techniques.
- Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records, and documentation standards.
- Ability to create and implement effective behavior management strategies.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients, families, and team members.

Qualifications
- Must have a high school diploma/GED
- Must be 18 years or older
- Having certification from the BACB is preferred, but willing to train
- Must undergo a background check
- CPR, First Aid, and QBS certifications preferred, but training will be available
