The Burger Bistro at Cece’s Kitchen LLC is an exciting new burger concept located inside The Silos Food Hall
& Bar, where bold flavors meet classic comfort. Our mission is to elevate the traditional burger experience with
creative twists, high-quality ingredients, and consistent execution—earning our place as one of Dayton’s go-to
destinations for crave-worthy burgers.
We’re building a passionate, customer-focused team and are looking for motivated individuals who thrive in a
fast-paced, positive environment. Cashiers play a key front-of-house role, serving as the primary connection
between our kitchen and our guests. This position supports customers throughout the ordering process, ensures
accuracy, and helps deliver a smooth, welcoming experience from the first greeting to the final handoff.
Please note: The Burger Bistro operates inside a 20-foot shipping container. While this unique setup is part of
the attraction and experience, it does mean working in a condensed, close-knit space with a small team. We
want all applicants to be aware of this environment prior to applying to ensure it’s a great fit for everyone
involved.

As a Cashier you will:
- greet every guest with a welcoming, kind, and positive attitude
- take guests’ orders at point of sale, with mindfulness to accuracy
- accept payments with high integrity and consistency to standard operating procedures
- facilitate coordination of dine-in, carry-out, online ordering, catering and third-party delivery pick-up orders
- as food is prepared from the kitchen; verify order accuracy, plating standards and expo food expeditiously
- check on guests to ensure positive experience; explain menu items, encourage guests to try new things,
recommend sides and desserts to up-sell the experience
- when applicable, assist guests with utensils, condiments, etc. when the opportunity presents to be of service
- during escalated volume, assist the Shift Leader with pacing and escalation when necessary
- learn the entire menu and dietary considerations to offer considerate customer service
- set-up, organize, and clean expo station to ensure proper operations
- complete opening, shift change and closing procedures thoroughly with attention to detail
- label and store all food, food prep, dry goods, and paper goods appropriately at the expo station
- participate and track on-going training in your role to develop skill, consistency, and performance
- learn and adhere to the policies and procedures outlined in the employee handbook, training materials, standard
operating procedures, and recipes guidelines
- contribute to an environment where open communication flourishes, feedback is valued, contributions matter,
and guests/team members are respected
- keep the kitchen unit (including exterior condiment station) clean, organized, and guest ready
- organize, pre-rinse, wash, sanitize, dry, and properly store all dishware throughout operations
- assist in marketing and promotional events when applicable
- support and organize the assembly of catering orders as needed
- provide exceptional customer service to our BOH, FOH team members, and our guests
- comply with health code standards and cleanliness in accordance with Montgomery County’s Department of
Health; ensure proper functionality and maintenance of all equipment
- arrive on time to work with a positive attitude
- other duties as assigned
