American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray with at least 1 year of Level 1 trauma experience for a high-acuity, inner-city Level 1 trauma center.

Works across multiple settings including the ED, inpatient floors, OR, and performing portable exams
-
Willingness to work with pediatric and neonatal patients is required
-
Primary department assignment daily with floating to other areas as needed

EMR: Epic and Sectra (experience preferred)

Equipment: GE, Philips, and CareStream radiologic and fluoroscopic equipment
-
12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
-
Scheduled Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday
-
Travelers are expected to work 4 weekend shifts per month
-
Block scheduling is generally not approved

Minimum 1 year of Level 1 trauma experience, or 2–3 years at a large-volume Level 2 trauma facility

Experience in high-acuity, fast-paced trauma environments with diverse and complex cases — candidates with experience limited to small or low-volume hospitals will not be considered

Current BLS and ARRT certification required

Graduation from a JRCERT/ARRT-approved radiologic technology program required

Proficiency operating radiologic and fluoroscopic equipment

Active state license required if applicable

This is a high-acuity, inner-city Level 1 trauma center with significant case volume and complexity

Responsibilities include evaluating images for technical quality and performing radiologic and fluoroscopic studies across multiple care settings
-
Technologists will work alongside radiology students and may perform competency check-offs for student evaluations

Mask fit testing is required
