BASIC SUMMARY:
The Financial Reporting Analyst is responsible for preparing, analyzing, and delivering timely and accurate financial reports, including SEC filings and internal management reporting. The role serves as a key owner of the company’s financial reporting systems, reconciliation tools, policy management processes, and board reporting packages.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Prepare and support quarterly and annual SEC filings, including Forms 10‑Q, 10‑K, 8‑K, and other required disclosures.
· Assist in drafting and maintaining footnotes, MD&A, and other narrative sections.
· Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, SEC regulations, and internal control requirements.
· Coordinate with auditors during quarterly reviews and annual audits.
· Develop and maintain monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting packages for executive leadership and the Board of Directors.
· Consolidate financial data across business units and ensure accuracy in presentation.
· Support ad hoc analysis, reporting enhancements, and special projects.
· Serve as the administrator and primary point of contact for financial reporting software (e.g., FPS.).
· Manage reconciliation software (e.g., ART), including user setup, process optimization, and reconciliation oversight.
· Maintain the Finance department’s policy library, including drafting, updating, and implementing policies and procedures.
· Coordinate policy reviews with internal stakeholders and ensure timely updates and approvals.
· Maintain documentation of financial reporting processes and internal controls.
· Comply with Code of Ethics standards and all applicable bank compliance laws and regulations.
· Perform all other related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Education:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, finance or related field.
· Experience:2-5 years of relevant experience in financial reporting, accounting or audit.
· An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for the specific education and experience listed above.
· Experience in SEC reporting (direct or indirect) strongly preferred.
· Other: Must have demonstrated skills in: U.S. GAPP and SEC disclosure requirements, attention to detail, integrity, people skills, thoroughness, analytical/problem-solving, exceptional writing, formatting and document-presentation skills, multi-tasking and documentation. Must be able to work independently and prioritize work. Ability to read, write, speak and understand English is required.
