Southlake Family Dentistry is seeking a friendly, dependable, and motivated Dental Assistant to join our growing, patient-focused practice. We pride ourselves on providing exceptional dental care in a welcoming, family-oriented environment. We are looking for someone who is a team player, has a positive attitude, and is passionate about delivering outstanding patient care.
Schedule
- Wednesday & Thursday: 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- 1–2 Fridays per month: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Responsibilities
- Assist the doctor during a variety of dental procedures.
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments.
- Take digital radiographs.
- Provide excellent patient care and education.
- Maintain accurate patient records.
- Ensure operatories are clean, organized, and fully stocked.
- Follow OSHA and infection control protocols.
- Work collaboratively with the entire dental team to create an exceptional patient experience.
Qualifications
- Dental assisting experience preferred.
- Itero
- Milling
- X-ray certification required (or eligible if applicable by state regulations).
- Coronal polishing and nitrous oxide certification are a plus, but not required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Reliable, professional, and positive attitude.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
