Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted
- Process sales transactions efficiently while handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods with precision
- Serve food and beverages promptly, including cocktails, spirits, wine, and non-alcoholic drinks, demonstrating knowledge of drink service standards
- Assist with food preparation and plating when needed to support kitchen operations and uphold food safety standards
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of dining areas, including bussing tables and resetting for new guests
- Upsell menu items such as specialty drinks or desserts to enhance guest experience and increase sales
Experience
- Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred, especially in fine dining environments
- Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable
- Experience with cocktail mixing, spirits, wine knowledge, and beverage service enhances your ability to serve guests expertly
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy hours
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and creating welcoming atmospheres
- Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities
- Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Experience in serving, bussing tables, host/hostess duties, or cashiering is a plus for this versatile role
