Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Licensed Contract Physical Therapist to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will provide expert physiotherapy services to diverse patient populations in an outpatient care setting. Your expertise will help patients recover mobility, reduce pain, and improve overall quality of life through personalized care plans. This is an independent contract position. As a 1099 employee you will be provided the flexibility of creating your own schedule and hours. New graduates also encouraged to apply. Georgia license is required for the position.
Duties
- Assess patients’ physical conditions by reviewing medical histories and conducting comprehensive physiotherapy evaluations.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans focused on improving mobility, strength, and function across various populations including but not limited to geriatrics, pediatrics, orthopedics, and post-surgical patients on a case by case basis.
- Administer treatments such as manual therapy, trigger point therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities to promote healing and pain relief.
- Monitor patient progress regularly and adjust care plans accordingly to optimize outcomes.
- Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, home exercise programs, and community resources to support ongoing recovery.
- Document all patient interactions accurately using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems while maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations (Jane App).
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care in an outpatient setting.
Qualifications
- Valid licensure as a Physical Therapist in the relevant jurisdiction with current state registration or certification (Georgia required).
- Liability insurance required.
- Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and physiotherapy.
- Experience with discharge planning and developing effective care plans tailored to individual needs.
- Specialists in varying physiotherapy highly encouraged to apply.
- Familiarity with EMR systems for documentation and patient record management.
- Excellent patient care skills with the ability to communicate clearly and empathetically across diverse populations including geriatrics and pediatrics.
- Knowledge of home & community care practices to support patients outside clinical settings.

Pay: $50.00 - $65.00 per hour
