<Overview>

<Duties>
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately fabricate ornamental iron components
- Perform MIG (Metal Inert Gas), TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas), FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), and <LOCATION> welding to join metals with precision and strength
- Use power tools, hand tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and sheet metal equipment to cut, shape, and assemble metal parts
- Read calipers, micrometers, and other measurement tools to ensure exact dimensions and tolerances
- Operate rigging equipment and forklifts safely for material handling and installation at construction sites or fabrication facilities
- Fabricate ductwork, piping, or structural elements following ASME codes & standards while adhering to safety protocols
- Solder, machine parts, or perform pipe threading as needed for specialized projects involving mechanical or plumbing components
<Requirements>
- Proven construction site experience with a strong understanding of safety procedures and site protocols
- Skilled in MIG, TIG, FCAW welding techniques; certification preferred but not mandatory
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, plasma cutting equipment, press brake machines, and sheet metal fabrication processes
- Mechanical knowledge including pipe threading, machining, soldering, and assembly processes
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks
- Experience operating forklifts and rigging equipment safely on job sites or in workshops
- Knowledge of ASME codes & standards relevant to welding and fabrication practices
