Custom Culinary , a subsidiary of Griffith Foods, is hiring an Inventory Control Technician to join our team . The Inventory Control Technician is responsible for maintaining the accuracy, availability, and traceability of label inventory while supporting daily production administration and scheduling activities. This role serves as a key link between Warehouse, Production, Quality, Planning, Regulatory, and Commercial teams to ensure label materials are available to meet production requirements, inventory records are accurate , and production processes operate efficiently.
As an Inventory Control Technician your responsibilities will include:
Track expired, obsolete, slow-moving, and non-conforming labels and coordinate recovery, utilization , or destruction activities
Collaborate cross-functionally with operational, quality, regulatory, commercial, and other business functions
Qualified candidates will have :
Associate degree in Business, Management, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related field
Strong knowledge of BRC, GMP, food safety, quality systems, documentation control, audit readiness, labeling requirements, and risk mitigation practices
Knowledge of Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Kaizen, GEMBA, and other continuous improvement methodologies
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, stand and walk to communicate and listen effectively. This will require both office and plant floor environments. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The employee will occasionally need to operate and drive a forklift or electronic pallet jack to transport materials or goods.
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and risk of electrical shock. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; high, precarious places; outside weather conditions and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. Dust and odor are present in the environment.
