American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg night shift position on the White 8 Medical Unit, requiring an active MA RN license and a minimum of 3 years of experience.

Work in an acute care hospital setting on the White 8 Medical Unit (Med/Surg)

Night shift schedule: 19:00–07:00 (7p–7a)

36 hours per week, straight nights

13-week contract

EMR: Epic (charting system used on unit)

Active MA RN license required — no pending or conditional licenses accepted

BLS certification required (AHA only — Red Cross not accepted for this location)

Minimum 3 years of RN experience required

2 professional references required for consideration

Active MA licensure must be on file at time of consideration — no exceptions

Flu vaccine required with no religious or medical exemptions allowed

Responsibilities include patient assessment, clinical decision-making, medication administration, vital sign monitoring, and coordination with the interdisciplinary care team

Candidates are expected to modify patient treatment plans in response to patient condition changes

Knowledge of medical terminology and the ability to screen and triage acute patients is essential

Local candidates residing within 60 miles of the facility are eligible but will receive a reduced pay rate

No validated parking is available at this Boston location; public transportation is recommended, and public parking ranges from $17–$22 per day

Timekeeping is managed through UKG/Kronos
