Job Overview
We are a small, locally owned family practice clinic in rural West Paducah, KY and have been in practice for 18 years. Though we are a family practice clinic we also see injuries and perform in office procedures regularly so experience assisting with procedures is a plus!
Duties
- Draw blood for labs, glucose checks, INR checks, etc.
- Process labs and prepare for pickup
- Administer injections
- Room patients
- Collect vitals
- Go over patient history
- Perform EKGs
- Stock medical supplies
- Clean rooms
- Assist with in office procedures
- Contact patients about tests and follow up appointments
Qualifications
- EMR experience is required*
- At least 2 years experience in a similar role is required*
- Phlebotomy experience is required*
- EKG experience is preferred
- Experience administering injections is preferred
- Certification is preferred
