Role Overview
As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will help ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of manufacturing equipment and machinery.
You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose mechanical problems, complete repairs, assist with equipment installations, and perform production-line setups. Your work will help minimize downtime and maintain production efficiency while meeting safety and quality requirements.
This position is ideal for an experienced maintenance professional or a mechanically skilled candidate with technical training and experience working with manufacturing equipment, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, or industrial machinery.
Shift: Openings available on 1st and 2nd shifts
Key Responsibilities
Equipment Maintenance:
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical problems and equipment failures.
- Repair or modify machinery to restore proper operation.
- Inspect machinery and identify worn, damaged, or malfunctioning components.
- Conduct performance tests to verify equipment efficiency and reliability.
- Respond to equipment breakdowns and production-related maintenance needs.
- Document completed maintenance and repair activities.
Production Support:
- Perform production-line equipment setups by following setup sheets.
- Assist with changeovers and equipment adjustments.
- Support production teams by resolving mechanical issues safely and efficiently.
- Assist with the installation of new manufacturing equipment.
- Interpret equipment manuals, diagrams, setup sheets, and technical documentation.
- Communicate equipment conditions and repair needs to appropriate team members.
- Perform additional duties that may vary by location.
Safety and Quality:
- Complete all work in compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Follow lockout/tagout and other established maintenance procedures.
- Use tools and equipment safely and appropriately.
- Maintain clean and organized maintenance and work areas.
- Report unsafe equipment conditions or potential hazards.
- Verify that repaired equipment is safe before returning it to production.
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Technical or vocational training in mechanical or electrical maintenance preferred.
- One to three years of manufacturing maintenance or related experience required.
- Experience maintaining hydraulic and electrical systems preferred.
- Experience with industrial machinery, production equipment, pneumatic systems, motors, pumps, conveyors, or automated equipment is a plus.

- Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills.

- Working knowledge of industrial electrical systems.
- Ability to interpret technical documentation and equipment manuals.

- Ability to complete line setups and mechanical adjustments accurately.
Licenses and Certifications
- OSHA 30-Hour General Industry Safety Training preferred.
- Basic Life Support certification preferred.
