A growing automotive dealership group in Northern Illinois is seeking an experienced Sales Manager who knows how to close deals, develop talent, and drive consistent results.We are looking for a hands-on leader who thrives on the sales floor, can desk deals, overcome objections, train sales professionals, and create a culture of accountability and performance.
Responsibilities
- Work directly with customers and sales consultants to close deals
- Recruit, train, coach, and develop a high-performing sales team
- Drive sales performance through daily accountability and follow-up
- Ensure all internet, phone, and showroom opportunities are properly managed
- Lead daily sales meetings and training sessions
- Monitor CRM activity and process execution
- Partner with F&I to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction
- Achieve monthly sales, gross profit, and customer retention goals
Qualifications
- Automotive sales management experience preferred
- Proven track record as a strong closer and deal maker
- Excellent leadership, coaching, and communication skills
- Strong follow-up and customer relationship skills
- Process and CRM driven
- Ability to motivate and hold a team accountable
- Competitive, energetic, and results-oriented
