Staffing Solutions of Hawaii is seeking a Custodian to join a growing and dynamic team!
Job Description:
- Clean and maintain all common areas, including lobbies, hallways, elevators, stairwells, sky lanais, amenity rooms, recreation areas, and loading zones.

Vacuum, sweep, dust, mop, and polish floors, carpets, entry mats, furniture, windows, glass doors, television equipment, and other common area fixtures.

Clean and sanitize amenity spaces, including counters, sinks, microwaves, tables, chairs, furniture, and walls as needed.

Maintain outdoor common areas by sweeping sidewalks, parking garages, rooftops, recreation decks, and other assigned exterior spaces.

Clean and disinfect restrooms, dog park areas, barbecue grills, trash rooms, recycling rooms, and trash chutes.

Empty trash receptacles throughout the property and maintain clean waste disposal areas.

Perform carpet extraction, pressure washing, and other deep-cleaning tasks as assigned.

Polish metal surfaces, door hardware, and other building fixtures to maintain a professional appearance.

Water potted plants and assist in maintaining the appearance of landscaped common areas.

Perform preventative maintenance tasks and assist with general maintenance projects as directed.

Follow all safety procedures, company policies, and established cleaning standards.
Position Requirements:
- Ability to frequently walk, stand, bend, kneel, climb stairs, and work from ladders up to 10 feet high.

Ability to safely lift, carry, push, and move equipment, furniture, and materials weighing up to 100 pounds.

Ability to learn all aspects of the position and provide coverage for other team members when needed.

Ability to follow written and verbal instructions while adhering to safety procedures and company policies.

Basic reading, writing, math, and problem-solving skills.

Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively with supervisors, coworkers, residents, and guests.

Ability to work independently while maintaining attention to detail and high cleanliness standards.
