ASPIRA seeks a knowledgeable, proactive, and service oriented IT Coordinator to oversee the organization’s technology support needs and ensure staff have reliable, effective, and secure technology solutions. This role serves as the primary technology resource for ASPIRA, providing hands-on technical support while helping develop processes, improve systems, and identify opportunities to strengthen the organization’s overall technology environment.
The IT Support Lead will provide leadership, guidance, and technical expertise in supporting end users, managing technology resources, troubleshooting complex issues, and coordinating technology projects. The ideal candidate is a problem solver who takes ownership, communicates effectively with staff and leadership, and brings the ability to improve processes while supporting the continued growth and success of ASPIRA.
Functions & Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary technology support resource for ASPIRA, providing timely and effective technical assistance to staff through in-person, phone, and remote support.
- Lead daily IT support operations by prioritizing service requests, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring technology needs are addressed efficiently and professionally.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, networking, and system issues involving computers, laptops, tablets, printers, audio/visual equipment, and other technology resources.
- Manage and maintain accurate documentation of IT requests, resolutions, technology assets, equipment assignments, and system procedures to support accountability and efficiency.
- Coordinate the setup, deployment, configuration, maintenance, and replacement of technology equipment for employees, classrooms, and organizational programs.
- Support the administration, maintenance, and security of organizational systems, applications, and user accounts, including Google Workspace administration.
- Develop and improve IT procedures, processes, and best practices while identifying opportunities to strengthen ASPIRA’s technology environment.
- Provide guidance, training, and support to staff to promote effective use of technology resources and improve overall user experience.
- Assist with technology projects, system upgrades, vendor coordination, and implementation of solutions that support organizational goals and operational needs.
- Stay informed of emerging technology trends, cybersecurity practices, and industry best practices while making recommendations to leadership to support continuous improvement.

Education & Experience
- IT Certificate, IT Associate Degree, or related education required.
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- Five (5) years of related experience preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
