Duties
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and order pickers safely and efficiently to load, unload, and move products.
- Utilize RF scanners and inventory management software to accurately track stock levels, process shipments, and update records in real-time.
- Prepare orders for shipment by picking, packing, and verifying items using warehouse management systems (WMS) and ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems like AS400 or MRP platforms.
- Manage shipping logistics by coordinating inbound and outbound deliveries, ensuring compliance with trade regulations and international trade standards.
- Maintain accurate inventory levels through regular stock counts, data entry, and stock replenishment activities.
- Support warehouse distribution operations by organizing storage areas, stocking shelves, and ensuring proper packaging for safe transportation.
- Assist with shipping & receiving tasks including inspecting incoming goods for quality and accuracy, documenting discrepancies, and processing returns when necessary.
Skills
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management software, and ERP platforms such as AS400 or MRP systems.
- Strong knowledge of shipping logistics, trade compliance, international trade regulations, and e-commerce distribution processes.
- Skilled in data entry with high accuracy using tools like Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience operating warehouse equipment including forklifts (certified preferred), reach trucks, pallet jacks, order pickers, RF scanners, and load/unload machinery.
- Basic math skills for counting inventory, measuring packages, and verifying quantities during order picking & packing activities.
- Excellent customer service orientation to support internal teams and external vendors effectively.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations such as stocking, order fulfillment, shipping & receiving procedures.
