Duties
- Prepare fresh sandwiches, salads, and other menu items according to established recipes and quality standards.
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process sales accurately and efficiently.
- Manage customer orders with professionalism, ensuring quick service and accurate food handling.
- Maintain a clean workspace by sanitizing surfaces, organizing ingredients, and adhering to food safety protocols.
- Handle cash register operations, process cash transactions, and give correct change while maintaining accuracy.
- Upsell menu items to enhance sales and improve customer experience through friendly suggestions.
- Support food industry standards by practicing proper sanitation, food safety management, and kitchen equipment operation.
Experience
- Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurants is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
- Background in food preparation, culinary arts, or food service customer order management is advantageous.
- Strong math skills for retail math, cash handling, and transaction processing are essential.
- Experience working in retail sales transactions or grocery store environments can be beneficial.
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting while maintaining high-quality service.
- Prior kitchen or café experience will help you excel in maintaining sanitation standards and operating kitchen equipment.
