Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable Janitorial Worker to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards across client facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong custodial skills, experience with cleaning equipment and chemical agents, and a commitment to safety protocols. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to the upkeep of high-traffic commercial spaces through diligent cleaning and maintenance practices. THIS IS A THIRD SHIFT POSITION (10:00 PM - 6:30 AM)
Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal in designated areas
- Handle chemical agents safely in accordance with safety protocol procedures to ensure proper sanitation
- Conduct heavy lifting and manual handling of supplies and equipment while adhering to safe lifting practices
- Maintain high standards of sanitation in restrooms, and common areas
- Follow established safety guidelines to prevent accidents and ensure a secure working environment
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning or custodial roles within commercial or industrial settings
- Ability to handle chemical agents safely following safety protocols and handling safety procedures effectively
- Strong manual handling skills with an emphasis on safe lifting practices for heavy objects or equipment
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members
- Familiarity with sanitation standards, facilities maintenance tasks, and industrial cleaning methods
- Ability to perform physical tasks reliably while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
