MSP Experience Is Required — Please Read Before Applying
Prior experience working for a Managed Service Provider (MSP) is a strict prerequisite for this role. The multi-client, fast-paced nature of our environment requires technicians who are already familiar with MSP workflows, remote monitoring and management (RMM) tools, and the expectations of managing multiple client environments simultaneously. Applications that do not reflect MSP experience on the resume will not be reviewed.
What You Will Do
As an IT Help Desk Technician at Invincia Technologies, your day-to-day responsibilities will include delivering technical support and troubleshooting to end-users via phone, email, and on-site visits. You will diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues across a diverse client base, and install, configure, and maintain computer systems and software. You will manage user accounts and permissions, assist with software updates and patch deployment, and collaborate with senior IT staff on complex escalations. Accurate documentation of all support activities and resolutions in the ticketing system is essential, as is the ability to train and guide end-users on basic computer operations and security best practices.
What You Bring
The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or has equivalent hands-on experience. You will have proven experience as a Help Desk Analyst or IT Support Technician specifically within an MSP environment, along with strong working knowledge of Windows operating systems and desktop support. A solid understanding of TCP/IP networking, DNS, and DHCP is expected, as is experience working efficiently within a ticketing system such as HaloPSA or a comparable platform. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities under pressure are essential. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must, as you will be representing Invincia directly with our clients.
Preferred but not required: Knowledge of Group Policy Objects (GPOs) for managing computer configurations, and familiarity with SCCM or similar RMM tools for software deployment and endpoint management.
