This is for an in-home infusion nurse that can work contingently around the nurse’s own personal and work schedule. At BrightStar Care, we provide uplifting in-home infusions such as IVIG/Hydrations/ABX, wound care, blood draws, dressing changes, injections, etc. for pediatric and adult patients who require a helping hand.

Registered Nurse Requirements:
· Current unrestricted RN license in state of Michigan
· Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in nursing
· Preferred (Not Required): ACLS, TNCC, ENPC, PALS, CRNI, etc
· Certified CPR and negative TB skin test or chest x-ray
· Minimum one (2) year of documented experience in critical care nursing, infusion nursing, adult and peds background (peds is not requirement), with exceptional nursing assessment skills
· Analytic/Critical thinker
· Licensed driver with valid automobile insurance
· Reliable transportation
· Must be able to stand walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push and pull. Varied assistance is required depending on the mobility of the client
Responsibilities:
· Assessment and Reassessment Skills
· Basic computer skills
· Excellent skills in PIV insertion (Lots of these patients are harder sticks)
· Excellent skills with PICC, PORTS, MID Lines, Central Line, dressing changes
· Able to teach and train patients/family efficiently per order how to conduct their own infusions such as TPN, ABX, injections etc. when needed
· Provide thoughtful care to patients and family
· Excellent organizational skills
· Monitor and track changes in the client/patient’s conditions and needs, and keep the Director of Nursing, pharmacy, and any other appropriate personnel informed
· Able to document on your phone or own personal computer/iPad/tablet
