Duties

- Handle various cleaning agents and chemicals safely in accordance with chemical handling safety procedures
- Conduct light lifting tasks using safe lifting practices for moving furniture, supplies, or equipment as needed
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, kitchens, hallways, offices, and common areas while adhering to sanitation standards
- Follow safety protocols diligently to prevent accidents or injuries during cleaning activities
Skills
- Experience in janitorial or custodial roles with knowledge of commercial and industrial cleaning techniques
- Strong understanding of cleaning procedures and floor care
- Ability to handle chemical agents safely while following all safety protocols for chemical handling safety procedures
- Excellent manual handling skills for light lifting and moving equipment or supplies efficiently and safely
- Customer service skills to interact professionally with staff and visitors when necessary
