Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive guest services to ensure a welcoming atmosphere
- Take accurate orders using POS systems and process transactions efficiently
- Assist with reservations and manage tables using OpenTable or similar reservation platforms
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, handling food safely, and supporting food preparation when needed
- Support food handling procedures and ensure compliance with food safety regulations
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate timely service and address guest needs promptly
Experience
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments preferred, especially in fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs
- Familiarity with POS systems is highly desirable
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle guest relations professionally and courteously
- Basic math skills for cash handling, cashiering, and transaction processing
- Experience in food handling, sanitation practices, and food safety protocols
- Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining high service standards
- Knowledge of serving techniques, upselling strategies, and restaurant operations is a plus
