Job Summary

Duties
- Examine animals thoroughly to assess health status, utilizing veterinary terminology and animal physiology knowledge.
- Perform medical procedures including general anesthesia, surgery, dentistry, and emergency medicine interventions with precision and aseptic technique.
- Administer anesthesiology protocols, monitor critical & intensive care cases, and manage animal restraint during examinations or procedures.
- Diagnose and treat conditions across internal medicine disciplines such as cardiology, oncology, and veterinary critical care.
- Handle animal catheterization, animal husbandry, pet grooming, and ensure proper animal handling techniques are followed at all times.
- Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding diagnosis, treatment plans, and preventive care strategies while maintaining professional ethics.
- Maintain detailed medical records in accordance with clinical ethical guidelines and veterinary standards.
- Assist in laboratory testing, interpret laboratory results, and provide appropriate follow-up care for animals requiring specialized treatment.
- Support the team in emergency situations by providing critical care and applying veterinary surgery skills when necessary.
Experience
- Proven veterinary experience working with companion animals.
- Demonstrated proficiency in animal restraint, anesthesia administration, surgical procedures, and laboratory diagnostics.
- Strong understanding of veterinary terminology, animal anatomy knowledge, and internal medicine principles.
- Experience with veterinary dentistry, cardiology, oncology, and critical & intensive care is highly desirable.
- Prior exposure to emergency medicine scenarios and surgical interventions is preferred.
- Ability to handle dogs confidently using dog handling techniques.
