About the Role:
As a Print Production Operator IV, you will play a crucial role in the production process by operating and maintaining various printing equipment to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality printed materials. This position requires a strong attention to detail, technical proficiency, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Set up, operate, and maintain digital, offset, and large-format printing equipment to produce materials according to job specifications.
- Prepare and inspect print files for accuracy, ensuring proper formatting and color management.
- Monitor print jobs for quality and consistency, making necessary adjustments to maintain high standards.
- Perform finishing tasks such as cutting, binding, laminating, and packaging of printed materials.
- Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting of printing equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Manage inventory of printing supplies, including paper, ink, and other consumables, to prevent production delays.
- Collaborate with design and prepress teams to ensure seamless workflow and address any production issues.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Document production activities and maintain accurate records of print jobs and equipment maintenance.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in printing or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a print production environment, with proficiency in operating various printing equipment.
- Strong understanding of print production processes, color theory, and finishing techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret job specifications and work orders.
- Proficient in using print-related software and tools
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Physical ability to lift and move materials up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and overtime, as needed.
"The pay range for this position starts at $18.00; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Bonus opportunities may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.”
Pay: $18.00 - $19.50 per hour
