SCHOOL BUS DRIVER - Sign on Bonus $2,000
- Virginia Regional Transit seeking part time CDL School Bus Drivers
- Driving for a private school in Herndon, VA 20171 zip code
- Under the guidance of the Transit Manager Vehicle Operators will operate a school bus in a safe and efficient manner
- Hours --- split shift 2 - 2.5 hours daily in AM / PM typical of a school day.
- Monday - Friday, no weekends
- Driver must possess a Commercial Driver's License (CDL), with passenger, school bus and air brake endorsements
- Training may be provided however applicant must obtain applicable permits prior to interview
- Paid training, paid time off, paid holidays, employer dental plan, EAP and employer matching retirement savings
- One year of driving experience preferred
- Drivers must be 21 years of age
- Requirement to pass an employer paid DOT Medical Physical
- $2,000.00 Sign On Bonus after 60 days of employment! (Bonus Offer is not valid to former VRT employees that separated within the last 12 months.)
- Pre-employment requirement: drug screening, background check and a valid driver's license.
