Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing, reviewing, and tracking RFIs, submittals, change orders, and purchase orders.
- Monitor project schedules and coordinate with field teams to resolve delays and maintain milestones.
- Support cost tracking, material procurement, and invoice review
- Draft professional correspondence and meeting minutes to ensure clear communication between stakeholders.
- Interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and contract documents to identify scope and compliance gaps.
- Collaborate with superintendents, foremen, and vendors to ensure timely delivery and installation of materials.
- Document project issues and advocate for fair compensation on scope changes due to unforeseen conditions.
- Maintain accurate records of all project activity and assist with closeout documentation.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience in commercial electrical construction, or equivalent technical field involving electrical systems and project coordination.
- Strong organizational and communication skills with an ability to adapt tone to diverse audiences.
- Familiarity with NEC, electrical systems, and construction drawings or willingness to pursue certifications as needed.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, project management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project)
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of LEED compliance, EV charging systems, and fire alarm retrofit processes.
- Ability to identify contractual discrepancies and propose documentation strategies.
- Proactive mindset with attention to detail and a commitment to quality and accountability.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
