Basic Rigger – Hutto, TX (Local Position)
Pay: $30–34/hour
Schedule: Full-Time | Temp-to-Perm
Location: Hutto, TX and surrounding areas
Superior Skilled Trades is seeking an experienced Basic Rigger for a local, temp-to-perm opportunity in the Hutto, X area. This is a hands-on position supporting commercial and industrial projects throughout the region. Candidates must have previous rigging experience and hold a current rigging certification.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform basic rigging duties for commercial and industrial construction projects
- Safely move, lift, and position machinery, equipment, and materials using proper rigging techniques
- Inspect and utilize slings, shackles, chain falls, hoists, come-alongs, and other rigging equipment
- Assist crane operators and communicate lift signals when required
- Load and unload materials and equipment safely
- Follow lift plans, company procedures, and OSHA safety regulations
- Maintain clean and organized job sites
- Work collaboratively with crews to ensure projects are completed safely and efficiently
Requirements
- Must have previous commercial and/or industrial rigging experience
- Must possess a current rigging certification
- Experience working around cranes and heavy equipment preferred
- Knowledge of rigging hardware, load calculations, and safe lifting practices
- OSHA 10 certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding work
- Must have reliable transportation and be able to travel locally to various job sites
- Strong commitment to safety and teamwork
