GENERAL DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our team and run our heavy gauge wire processing cell. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining heavy gauge wire processing machines, as well as cutting DIN rail and wire duct to specified lengths and dimensions.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Operate heavy gauge wire processing machine to cut, strip, and terminate wires according to specifications.
- Cut DIN rail and wire duct to precise lengths using appropriate tools and equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to specifications.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Previous experience operating heavy gauge wire processing machines is preferred.
- Familiarity with or ability to learn to cut DIN rail and wire duct.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to read and interpret technical drawings as needed
- Basic mechanical skills and ability to perform routine maintenance on machinery.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills and a commitment to safety and quality
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or equivalent
