Job Description:

Completes appropriate batching, quality, security, and shipping paperwork for associated loads and materials.
Observes and assist with chemical reactions; monitors gauges, signals, and recorders; and receives notification from control laboratory, supervisor, or other workers to make specified operating adjustments.
Receives raw materials for production process and assists with quality confirmation process and maintaining inventory. This includes but not limited to barge, railcar, tank truck, tote/drum quantities.
Oversees the loading and unloading of trucks within the unit. When needed, loads finished products for transport to customers. This includes but not limited to barge, railcar, tank truck, tote/drum quantities.
May perform chemical tests on product to ensure conformance with specifications, using standard test equipment, materials, and procedures.
Ensures all equipment within the unit such as forklifts, drum handling equipment, pumps, hoses, etc. are properly cared for and maintained.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk, hear, or smell. The employee is frequently required to walk and stand for extended periods of time.
Ability to bend and twist, sit, stoop. Kneel, push, pull and crawl
Must be able to wear all required personal protective equipment (i.e. respirators, chemical suits, protective boots, eye protection, hearing protection, etc.).
