The Fireplace New Jersey, LLC is seeking experienced commercial cannabis professionals to join our growing team in South Jersey. We currently have positions available within our Cultivation, Post-Harvest, Integrated Pest Management (IPM), and Fertigation departments.
These are experienced-level positions. Applicants must have at least three years of direct experience working in a licensed commercial cannabis cultivation facility, with five or more years strongly preferred. Candidates will be placed according to their professional background, technical knowledge, and area of specialization.
Available Departments
Cultivation
- Plant care throughout the vegetative and flowering cycles
- Transplanting, pruning, defoliation, trellising, and canopy management
- Plant-health monitoring and environmental observation
- Harvest preparation and execution
- Facility sanitation and strict adherence to cultivation SOPs
Post-Harvest
- Drying, curing, bucking, trimming, grading, and final product preparation
- Monitoring environmental conditions during drying and curing
- Maintaining product quality, consistency, cleanliness, and organization
- Accurately weighing, documenting, and handling cannabis material
- Following all inventory-control and compliance procedures
Integrated Pest Management (IPM)
- Routine plant scouting and early identification of pest or disease pressure
- Accurate documentation of observations and treatments
- Safe preparation and application of approved IPM products
- Maintaining sanitation, prevention, and biological-control programs
- Following product labels, company SOPs, and all applicable regulations
Fertigation
- Nutrient preparation, mixing, and delivery
- Monitoring and adjusting pH and EC
- Operating and maintaining irrigation and fertigation equipment
- Inspecting pumps, emitters, lines, tanks, and dosing systems
- Troubleshooting irrigation issues and maintaining accurate records
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of three years of professional commercial cannabis cultivation experience; five or more years preferred
- Previous experience in at least one of the listed departments
- Strong understanding of commercial cultivation practices and production standards
- Ability to follow detailed SOPs and maintain accurate records
- Dependable attendance, professional conduct, and strong attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively as part of a structured production team
- Must be at least 21 years old and eligible to work in a New Jersey-licensed cannabis facility
- Ability to perform physical cultivation work, including extended periods of standing, bending, reaching, and lifting up to 50 pounds
