We are looking for an experienced Gunsmith to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of firearms and the ability to work with a variety of tools and materials. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and modifying firearms, as well as performing routine maintenance and safety checks. Responsibilities:
- Clean, maintain, and repair firearms.
- Perform safety checks on firearms.
- Cerakote firearms
- Assemble and disassemble firearms.
- Test fire firearms to ensure accuracy and safety.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose firearm malfunctions.
- Thread barrels on a lathe
- Advise customers on the proper use and maintenance of firearms.
- Keep accurate records of firearm repairs and maintenance.
Responsibilities and Duties
A Gunsmith should be able to perform the following tasks:
- Repair ejecting & firing problems on handguns, rifles, and shotguns.
- Inspect, disassemble, clean, oil and reassemble all types of firearms.
- Repair damaged parts or order appropriate replacement parts and install them.
- Repair and/or install barrels.
- Complete AR modifications and upgrade parts and accessories.
- Install sights on handguns, rifles, shotguns.
- Mount scopes and use laser bore-sighter to confirm settings.
- Refinish or repair wooden stocks.
Qualifications & Skills
- At least 21 years of age
- Gunsmithing degree or certificate from reputable institution
- At least 1 year of full-time paid gunsmith work
- References to show quality of work
Physical Requirements:
- Extended periods of standing.
- Lifting and/or pushing objects up to 40 lbs. on a regular basis

Pay: $18.00 - $30.00 per hour
