Summary:
Responsible for the administration, operational direction and coordination of the hospital pharmacy activities in accordance with policies and procedures adopted by the governing body and Chief Executive Officer; the rules and regulations of the Medical-Dental staff; all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations and standards of the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare organizations.
Other information:
Education:
PharmD/graduate of a College of Pharmacy accredited by the American Council of Pharmaceutical Education (ACPE) required. Currently licensed and registered or eligible in PA required.
Experience:
At least five (5) years’ experience in hospital pharmacy required.
Preferred Skills:
Recent hospital pharmacy management experience preferred. EMR experience preferred.
