Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the housekeeping team to ensure all areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules, protocols, and quality control measures to optimize efficiency and guest satisfaction.
- Oversee daily operations including room cleaning, laundry services, janitorial tasks, and custodial duties across the property.
- Train, motivate, and evaluate staff members to foster a positive work environment focused on teamwork and excellence.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, and equipment, ensuring proper stock levels while controlling costs.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public spaces, back-of-house areas, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate special cleaning projects or event preparations as needed.
Experience
- Proven supervisory experience in housekeeping management within a hotel or hospitality environment.
- Extensive janitorial and custodial experience with a strong understanding of commercial cleaning techniques.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Background in laundry operations and maintaining high standards of cleanliness in guest accommodations.
- Familiarity with hotel industry standards, hospitality best practices, and safety regulations related to cleaning procedures.
