Pedigo Products, Inc., a leading Manufacturer of high-quality medical devices, is looking for a Supervisor to lead our Fabrication operations on Swing Shift. This position will have overall responsibility for the Swing Shift which includes Laser, Forming, Machining, Welding and Finishing Departments. Schedule is Monday through Thursday 2:45pm - 1:30am and overtime.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide top level shift leadership for all Fabrication Departments
- Communicate and support nightly production priority plans
- Prioritize and stage work flow by department to meet overall shop production plan
- Ensure personal productivity of operators and department productivity goals
- Ensure first article quality checks are completed and report non-conformances
- Ensure production transaction accuracy in the ERP system
- Collaborate with Production Planner and Dayshift Dept Supervisors to optimize output
- Ensure personal development and cross training of shift employees
- Assist in Developing and documenting best practices within the department
Experience, Skills, Education and Attributes of Candidates to be considered:
- 3+Years of Progressive leadership work experience in a metal fabrication environment
- Exceptional interpersonal and written communication skills
- Desire to lead a team of individuals to exceed expectations
- Natural inclination toward continuous improvement, motivation, and team development
- Natural inclination toward planning, organization, and efficiency
- Technical and mechanical aptitude for CNC cutting and forming equipment
- Experience or aptitude for working with ERP System for production control/recording
- Basic PC Skills, network experience a plus
- Ability to read and interpret drawings/blueprints and work instructions
- Good basic math skills (Basic Geometry, Fractions, Decimals)
