EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
This position serves as a lead worker for a shift and guides a team of clerks. Responsibilities include collaborating with the FW&GS management team to keep our store a friendly, team-orient environment where each day brings new challenges and rewards. As a Liquor Store Clerk 2, you will perform the following duties:
Customer Support: Provide friendly service, help customers find products, and assist with loading purchases-
Inventory Checks: Record inventory counts, track product changes, and update inventory systems accurately

Store Procedures: Open and close the store, secure money and doors, and prepare the store for the next business day

Sales Operations: Operate registers, verify IDs, scan products, bag items, correct register errors, and complete deposits

Stock Management: Lead staff in stocking shelves, building displays, rotating inventory, and using equipment safely

Teamwork Support: Provide guidance and training to less experienced staff and work well with others to ensure a positive shopping environment
Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full-time employment.

Work hours will vary, totaling 75 hours biweekly.

This is an itinerant position, requiring travel as needed.

Salary: The starting salary for this position for new Commonwealth employees is fixed at the minimum salary listed above and is not negotiable.
