The Electro Mechanic Technician is responsible to execute Corrective Maintenance (Repairs) & Preventive Maintenance Procedures as well to support the Continuous Improvement Initiatives to guarantee Equipment Reliability. Always working efficiently following the Safety requirements to achieve Maintenance Indicators (Downtime, Preventive Maintenance Attained, PM Scripts Revision), Root Cause Analysis with countermeasures, Participate in New Equipment Installation, Troubleshooting (Mechanical, Electrical, Control).
Qualifications
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Strictly adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
- ·Conduct comprehensive electrical risk assessments and define standardized electrical safety procedures.
- Install electrical conduits, cabling, and tubing.
- Provide technical support for both production equipment and plant utilities.
- Perform high-level corrective and preventive maintenance to maximize equipment reliability and uptime.
- Test and troubleshoot critical components, including motors, drives, VFDs, sensors, valves, and relays, to identify and resolve system malfunctions.
- Read and interpret PLC ladder diagrams, electrical blueprints, and mechanical schematics to repair automated machinery and machine controls.
- Repair Electrical Machine Controls and Mechanical Automated Equipment by Reading and Analyzing Blueprints and Schematics.
- Lead Root Cause Analysis investigations to identify and eliminate the source of recurrent machine downtime and implement permanent solutions.
- Ensure all machinery is kept in peak operative condition to meet production demands.
- Support plant-wide initiatives and engineering projects aimed at optimizing operational efficiency.
- Accurately document all maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used within the maintenance management system.
- Identify and resolve technical issues in a timely manner by gathering and analyzing system performance data.
- Maintain strict compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Work effectively both independently and as part of a team; follow complex verbal and written directives from supervisors.
- Perform any other duties as assigned.
Education and Qualifications
- Minimum Required:
- Technical career, Electromechanical, Mechatronics.
- 5 years of Machines and Maintenance Experience.
- Preferred:
- Maintenance Certificate
- Bachelor's Degree
Physical Requirements

- Following directions from Supervisors.
- Manufacturing Background in Bakery or Food Industry.
Food Safety Responsibilities:
- Follow all relevant food safety rules including SQF, GMPs, and Food Defense.
- Report any observed food safety violations to your supervisor immediately.
Pay: $34.00 - $40.00 per hour
