Bluestone Landscape is seeking a dedicated and skilled Lawn Chemical Applicator to join our professional team. As a lawn care specialist, you will play a vital role in enhancing the beauty and health of our clients' landscapes through the safe and efficient application of various lawn chemicals.
Responsibilities:
1. Lawn Treatment Application: Apply fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides, and other lawn chemicals to residential and commercial properties following established guidelines and safety standards.
2. Equipment Maintenance: Ensure all application equipment is properly maintained, calibrated, and in excellent working condition.
3. Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and industry regulations to protect yourself, team members, clients, and the environment during chemical applications.
4. Quality Control: Monitor the effectiveness of lawn treatments, identify any issues, and propose corrective actions to achieve optimal results.
5. Client Interaction: Provide excellent customer service, answer questions, and address concerns related to lawn treatments, ensuring clients are well-informed and satisfied.
6. Recordkeeping: Maintain accurate records of chemical applications, treatment schedules, and other relevant data.
7. Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to coordinate lawn care operations and provide support as needed.
Requirements:
1. Experience: Proven experience as a lawn chemical applicator or in a similar role is preferred. Knowledge of different types of lawn chemicals and their applications is a strong advantage.
2. Certification: Possession of a valid herbicide applicator's license
3. Physical Fitness: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy equipment and working in varying weather conditions.
4. Safety Conscious: Strong understanding of safety protocols and the ability to follow all safety guidelines to minimize risks.
5. Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail and the ability to assess lawn conditions accurately.
6. Customer Focus: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact with clients professionally and courteously.
7. Time Management: Efficiently manage work schedules, prioritize tasks, and adhere to set timelines.
8. Team Player: A positive attitude and the ability to work collaboratively with other team members.
9. Valid Driver's License: A clean driving record and a valid driver's license are required.
