E-Rate Coordinator II (226 Days) BOND FUNDED -(RTP20260716-003)
Description
Maintain E-Rate equipment inventory documentation, and maintain E-Rate files and records for audit purposes.- Keep abreast of E-Rate rules and regulations to ensure compliance in the management of the district's E- Rate funds and technical, legislative and professional trends affecting E-Rate projects to ensure district's compliance.
- Reconcile invoices, purchase orders and receivers to ensure accuracy and completeness, prior to submitting reconciled items for E-Rate review and Pre-SLD Certification.
- Keep IT Division abreast of all procurement protocols, by providing direction to department staff working with E-Rate project to ensure compliance with District, State and E-Rate policies.
- Serve as primary contact (internally and externally), for the Technology Department, regarding E-Rate PO’s and invoices.
- Review, approve, sign or submit E-Rate forms related to the E-Rate Program.
- Provide guidance to the E-Rate inventory technician with maintaining accurate asset inventory records and maintain E-Rate inventory documentation and procedures.
- Coordinate and deliver E-Rate training for IT Division staff and maintain appropriate documentation, for audit purposes.
- Maintain category one and category two E-Rate reimbursement budget, as it relates to technology equipment.
- Monitor all contracts, supplemental agreements and requisitions for E-Rate procurement to ensure compliance with District procurement policies.
- Professionally interface with vendors, district staff and end-users to ensure quality assurance in E-Rate contracts, license agreements and delivery of technical support services.
- In collaboration with IT Stakeholders, process FCC Form 470s, 471s, 472s, 486s, 500s and any other documents thereto before the E-Rate department submits them to USAC.
- Represent Dallas ISD’s IT Department at IT meetings with E-Rate service providers, conferences, and training seminars conducted by federal and other officials.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university (USA equivalent) required- Minimum three years of directly related work experience
- Knowledge of and experience related to E-Rate rules and regulations.
- Excellent computer skills with proficiency in MS Office, Oracle, Financials.
- Must communicate effectively in written and oral format.
- Must possess excellent technical, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to produce accurate work with time constraints and ability to work flexible work schedule.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relations with internal and external clients and mentor staff, while creating a pleasant work environment, and fostering a climate of personal and professional development.
