The Early Head Start Comprehensive Services Manager ensures high-quality family engagement and health services for the Early Head Start program. This role provides coaching and professional development to family engagement staff, oversees health operations to maintain compliance, and manages eligibility, recruitment, selection, enrollment, and attendance (ERSEA) processes to ensure full enrollment.
Living in the state of Wisconsin and in the Milwaukee area is required for this position.
This is a hybrid position, you will be working from your home office and going out into the community to meet with childcare providers.
Experience working in the early childcare industry is required for this position.

Duties & Responsibilities:
· Provide coaching and professional development for family engagement advocates to strengthen service quality and capacity.
· Oversee health operations, ensuring compliance with program policies and regulations, including the effective implementation of the health component.
· Manager ERSEA processes to maintain full program enrollment, including targeted recruitment strategies and timely placements.
· Develop and maintain community partnerships to support health and family service’s needs.
· Monitor the quality and effectiveness of family engagement interventions, ensuring alignment with program goals.
· Collaborate with the family advocates to ensure timely screenings, follow-ups, and management of chronic health conditions for enrolled children.
· Utilize data to evaluate program performance and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
· Support child care providers in implementing strategies to engage families and improve outcomes related to health, education, and self-sufficiency.
Education & Required Skills:
· Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Nursing, Health Education, Family and Child Development, or related field (RN or MPH preferred).
- Minimum of five years of experience in family and community engagement or public health settings, particularly with a variety of low-income populations.
- Strong understanding of children ages birth to three.
- Expertise in coaching, professional development, and community-based interventions for families.
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
